Boy, 10, hurt in car collision in Rhondda

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Rhondda.

A silver Chrysler Cruiser vehicle was involved in the incident with the pedestrian on Tyntyla Road at 1710 BST on Wednesday 18 May.

The child was taken to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital and then transferred to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. His condition is not known.

Police want witnesses to call 101.
