Two children hurt as bus hits tree branch in Barry

Two children have suffered minor injuries after a double-decker bus hit the overhanging branch of a tree in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.

South Wales Police said the vehicle hit the branch in Oxford Street on Monday afternoon.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said six vehicles had been sent to the scene, including rapid response paramedics.

The alarm was raised after the incident at about 1520 BST.
