Trains disrupted at Cardiff Queen Street station

Train services in Cardiff have been disrupted after a man was hit by a train at Queen Street station.

British Transport Police and officers from the South Wales force were called to the scene at 15:10 BST on Monday.

The injured man, a 40-year-old from Cardiff, was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

Police are not treating the incident as suspicious, and the line was reopened at 16:00 BST. The train involved was the Merthyr to Barry Island service.
