Driver, 21, arrested over road death on A449 near Usk

A 21-year-old motorist has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a collision in which another man died.

Gwent Police said a white Ford Transit camper van and a white BMW car collided on the A449 near Usk, Monmouthshire, at about 19:00 BST on Saturday.

The 67-year-old camper van driver, who was from the Monmouth area, died.

The BMW driver, who is also from the area, was arrested. Police are appealing for information.
