Wounding charge over Ely Kebab House double stabbing

A 34-year-old man has been charged with wounding after two men, both aged 23, were stabbed in a Cardiff kebab shop.

One man is in a stable condition at the University Hospital of Wales after the incident at the Ely Kebab House on Grand Avenue, Ely, early on Sunday.

Five men were arrested, and four were later released without charge.

In an unrelated incident, a 34-year-old man was stabbed in Pethybridge Road, Ely, at 11:30 GMT on Saturday.

The injured man in the Pethybridge Road incident was said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Police investigating the kebab shop stabbing are appealing for help in identifying the occupants of a white Ford Mondeo spotted at the scene.
