Llantwit Major crash: woman airlifted to hospital

A woman has been airlifted to hospital after a road accident in the Vale of Glamorgan which left a vehicle on its side.

She suffered head injuries in the incident involving one vehicle on the B4265 at Pentre Cwrt, Llantwit Major.

A 12-year-old girl suffered minor injuries in the accident involving a grey Ford Focus at 09:53 GMT on Saturday.

Both were taken to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff.
