Cardiff Airport flights disrupted by thick fog

Thick fog is causing disruption to flights in and out of Cardiff Airport.

Some services are delayed while earlier some planes heading to Cardiff were diverted to Birmingham, Bristol and Filton in Gloucestershire.

The airport remains fully open but passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling.

Earlier on Friday flights from Cardiff to Paris, Edinburgh and Dublin were cancelled.

Flights are arriving and departing again but there are delays.
