Tredegar man dies after catching fire, police confirm

A man has died in hospital from injuries he received after catching fire, Gwent Police confirm.

Police said officers were called to an address in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, at around 04:50 GMT on Wednesday.

Officers found the 33-year-old man outside the property suffering from "significant" burn injuries.

Police said he was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny, where he later died. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
