Investigation after fire at flat in Cardiff

A flat in Cardiff has been completely destroyed by a fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Crews were called to the first floor flat in Princes Court, Richmond Crescent, Roath, shortly after midnight.

South Wales Fire service say the cause is currently under investigation.

Elsewhere, one adult was rescued from an accidental bedroom fire at a two-storey terraced property at Bryntaf in Aberfan, near Merthyr, at 0220 BST.
