M48 at Magor shut after man dies in lorry and car crash

A man has died after a collision which led to the closure of the M48 in Monmouthshire.

It is believed the man was outside of his car on the carriageway when the incident with a lorry happened between Magor and Chepstow at about 10:20 BST on Monday.

The M48 had reopened completely by late afternoon.

Both carriageways had been closed and diversions were set up.
