Rhondda: Car hits Range Rover into Treorchy building

Three people have been taken to hospital after the car they were in left the road and crashed into a Range Rover, hitting it into a building.

South Wales Police said the three male occupants were removed from a blue Ford Focus after the crash at Treorchy, Rhondda, at 11:10 BST on Saturday.

The Range Rover was parked outside the Ynyswen Industrial Estate, and it was hit into the roller shutter doors of units four and five.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged, and the building received structural damage.

The Ford had been travelling north from the direction of Abergorki Industrial Estate when it left the road.

Any witnesses who saw the collision or the Ford before the collision are asked to contact the Eastern Sector Roads Policing Unit in Cardiff on 029 20571600, or Crimestoppers or their local police station.
