Two cut from wreckage after road collision in Bridgend

Two people are in hospital after being cut from wreckage by firefighters following a road crash in Bridgend.

Two cars were involved in the collision at Heol Ty'n y Garn, Pen-y-fai, at 18:18 BST on Wednesday.

Firefighters using hydraulic equipment cut a woman - thought to be in her late teens - from one car and she was taken to hospital with suspected neck and back injuries.

An occupant of the other vehicle was cut free and taken to hospital.
