Chepstow house fire tackled by firefighters

Firefighters have tackled a fire at a disused house in Chepstow, Monmouthshire.

South Wales Fire Service said the property in Hardwick Avenue was well alight when the firefighters arrived just after 05:00 BST.

But the fire is now out and it is understood that no one was injured.

Fire crews from Chepstow, Caldicot, Cwmbran and Maindy, Newport, put out the blaze with a number of water jets.
