Lostprophets: Watkins in court over child sex offence charges

The lead singer of rock group Lostprophets has been remanded in custody by a court after being charged with sexual offences against children.

Ian Watkins, 35, from Pontypridd, is accused of conspiring to engage in sexual activity with a female under 13 and the possession or distribution of indecent images of children.
