A465 Abergavenny: Pedestrian Mark Anthony Francis killed

A pedestrian killed in a collision involving two vehicles on the A465 near Abergavenny has been named by Gwent Police.

Mark Anthony Francis, 46, from Blaina, died at the scene on Wednesday evening between the A465 Abergavenny turn-off and the Hardwick roundabout.

The two vehicles involved were a silver Ford Focus and a black VW Passat.

Gwent Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen Mr Francis on the road up to 19:00 GMT.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
