Two questioned after cyclist dies on A472 at Crumlin

Two men have been arrested after a 60-year-old cyclist died following a collision involving two cars.

The collision happened on the A472 Hafodyrynys Road in Crumlin at 07:20 BST on Monday.

The drivers of the two cars, A 51-year-old from Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf and a 59-year-old from Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The cyclist, who has not yet been named, was from Markham, Caerphilly.

Gwent Police said witnesses should call 101.
