A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a six-week-old baby.

Michael Pearce, 32, from Nelson in Caerphilly, was charged with assault nearly three weeks ago following the baby's death on 20 August.

Alfie Sullock, from Fairwater, Cardiff, died at the University Hospital of Wales in the city.

Mr Pearce is currently being questioned by Gwent Police.
