Man, 26, charged with murder of Kevin Hier in Tondu

A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Bridgend.

Kevin Hier, 50, was found at an address in Heol yr Ysgol, Tondu, on Wednesday and died at the Prince of Wales hospital in Bridgend.

James Curtis from Ynysawdre has been remanded in custody by South Wales Police.

He will appear at Bridgend Magistrates court on Monday morning.
