Gareth Williams: No pleas in school voyeurism charges

Gareth Williams will appear before Cardiff Crown Court next week

A deputy head teacher who has previously admitted secretly filming children in a toilet has appeared in court to face 48 more charges.

Gareth Williams, 47. who has been suspended by Ysgol Glantaf in Cardiff, made no plea during the video link hearing at Cardiff Magistrates' Court.

Williams faces 12 counts of voyeurism - six of which relate to the school.

He also faces 34 counts of making indecent images of children and two of possessing indecent images of children.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Cardiff Crown Court on Monday.

Last month Williams admitted three counts of voyeurism, although they did not take place at the school.
