Woman dies in Cardiff city centre car park fall

Police on Westgate Street following death of woman Police were called to the Westgate car park at 18:40 GMT on Saturday

A woman, 41, has died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Cardiff city centre.

South Wales Police say they were called to Westgate Street near the Millennium Stadium at 18:40 GMT on Saturday.

Ambulance personnel also attended, but the woman was declared deceased at the scene.

Police said the death is now under investigation, however there are no suspicious circumstances. The coroner has also been informed.
