Re-appeal after Cwmbran motorcylist killed on A449

Police have re-appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was killed in a road crash in Monmouthshire.

Kevin Morgan, 60, from Cwmbran was in collision with a BMW on the A449 at around 11:15 BST on Saturday.

Gwent Police want to hear from anyone who saw the bike and car before the crash.

A 32-year-old man from Chepstow has been released on police bail after being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police said the collision involved a black convertible Z4 BMW and a white Kawasaki bike.

They want to hear from anyone who may have seen the car and bike on the southern distributor road near Newport, junction 24 of the M4 or the A449 in the lead up to the collision

The BMW was being driven with its roof down.

Gwent Police said anyone with information can contact 101.
