Cwmcarn school 'murder plot' teenagers re-bailed by police

Two teenage girls at the centre of an alleged murder plot against a teacher have been re-bailed by Gwent Police.

The teenagers have answered bail and were released until 14 August pending further inquiries.

It was claimed maths teacher Alison Cray had been the target of a plot at Cwmcarn school in Caerphilly county.

The girls, who were aged 14 and 15, had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
