Cardiff traffic disrupted by bus fuel spill on Ocean Way

A major fuel spill has disrupted traffic south of Cardiff city centre.

Around 50 litres of diesel leaked onto Ocean Way, Splott, after the fuel tank on a bus collapsed on Wednesday morning.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Cardiff Central and Caerphilly to the scene.

The bus has been taken away, but one lane into the city remains closed near the junction with Portmanmoor Road for safety reasons.

Natural Resources Wales, South Wales Police and Cardiff council were also alerted.
