Man, 41, dies after incident in Splott, Cardiff

A 41-year-old man has died in hospital following an incident in Cardiff.

South Wales Police sealed off an area around Adeline Street in Splott at 14:00 BST on Saturday after concerns were raised for the man's welfare.

A force spokesperson said he was taken to the city's University of Wales Hospital with serious injuries but later died.

The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

The coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination will be conducted.
