A Cardiff deputy head teacher who was jailed for secretly filming pupils going to the toilet is set to appeal against the length of his sentence.

Gareth Williams, 48, admitted 31 charges, including nine of voyeurism and 20 of making indecent photos, at Cardiff Crown Court in May.

The appeal is due to be heard in October at London's Court of Appeal.

Ysgol Glantaf teacher Williams was jailed for five years after being caught in a global police operation.
