Magor crash: Lorry driver held after cyclist hurt

A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a collision which left a cyclist critically injured in Monmouthshire.

The incident happened at Magor close to the Europark road, near the M4 junction 23a on Friday at 07:55 GMT.

The male cyclist, aged 34, has been taken to Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales.

The 61-year-old lorry driver is being questioned by Gwent Police who are appealing for witnesses.
