Lanes on both sides of the M4 are to remain closed until at least the end of the week after a lorry crashed through the central reservation near Bridgend.

The outside lanes between junction 36 at Sarn and junction 37 at Porthcawl were affected on Tuesday afternoon.

The lorry, which was travelling west, went through the barrier and ended up on the hard shoulder of the eastbound carriageway.

Traffic Wales said the work would take a number of days.
