A baby girl has been freed by firefighters after being accidentally locked inside a car on Christmas Day.

Emergency services were called to the incident at Tan y Bryn, Rhymney, near Merthyr Tydfil, at 15:30 GMT on Thursday.

Crews from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service used tools to unlock the door and the five month old was freed within 25 minutes.
