Man released without charge after woman's death in Cardiff

A man arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Cardiff on Saturday has been released without charge.

The 66-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of assault after the woman was found injured at a house in Drawlings Close, St Mellons.

Police confirmed on Sunday that the 46-year-old from Mountain Ash in the Cynon Valley had died.

After a post-mortem examination South Wales Police said they are no longer treating the death as suspicious.
