Inquiry into arson attack which killed 60 animals at farm

Police are investigating an arson attack which killed more than 60 animals at a farm in Caerphilly county.

Firefighters were called to a building at Mynydd Mayo Farm in Groeswen at 13:51 on Sunday.

Farmer Julian Fabian told Wales Online two cats, two dogs, a pig, 55 chickens, three geese and a cockerel died when a fire tore through a farm building.

South Wales Fire Service is treating the fire as deliberate and South Wales Police are investigating.
