Sameena Imam: Allotment search for murdered woman in Leicester

An allotment is being searched by police who are investigating the murder of a woman from Cardiff who went missing on Christmas Eve.

Two brothers have been charged with the murder of Sameena Imam and have appeared in court.

Forensics officers have searched a property in Leicester and are now at an allotment off Groby Road in the city.

Ms Imam, 34, was last seen outside the wholesaler Costco in Coventry at about 16:00 GMT on 24 December.

She was visiting the store as part of her job as a regional marketing manager for Costco.

Her body has not been found.

Roger Cooper, 40, of Coventry, and David Cooper, 38, of Leicester appeared via videolink at Birmingham Crown Court charged with her murder.

They have been remanded in custody with a provisional trial date set for the end of June.
