Two injured after Butetown tunnel car crash

Two women have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Cardiff's Butetown tunnel.

The incident happened at about 08:50 GMT on the northbound carriageway of the A4232.

Fire crews say one woman was cut free from a car, and another woman was also treated at the scene.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said the two women were taken to the University Hospital of Wales in the city. The road has since reopened to traffic.
