OAP killed in Brynmawr crash named as Alan Davies

A pensioner who died in a three-car crash has been named by Gwent Police.

Alan Davies, 79, from Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent, was killed on the A465 near Brynmawr, on 24 February at about 21:30 GMT.

He was driving a Peugeot 107 when it collided with a Ford Mondeo and a Volkswagen Caddy van.

The drivers of the other two vehicles received minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution. They have since been discharged.
