Four arrested in Tonypandy murder probe after man dies

A murder investigation has been launched after a 42-year-old man died following a serious assault.

South Wales Police say four people have been arrested and remain in custody after the incident on Friday in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taff.

The victim was taken to Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant where he later died.

Police have cordoned off De Winton Street and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.
