Dozens of military aircraft have been taking part in a military exercise over south Wales this weekend.

Nato's Joint Warrior exercise has seen aircraft including Chinooks, Apache, Lynx and Merlin helicopters flying out of the St Athan base in the Vale of Glamorgan.

It is part of a UK-wide multinational war games exercise that has seen around 1,500 troops converge on south Wales.

In total, around 13,000 NATO personnel from 14 countries are taking part.
