Two in hospital after serious accident on A4232 in Cardiff

Two people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash involving a motorbike and a van in Cardiff.

The A4232 - one of the main routes out of the city - was closed following the incident near the Culverhouse Cross roundabout shortly after 17:00 BST on Thursday.

Emergency services including the air ambulance were called.

Cardiff Council tweeted that the road has since been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
