Man, 70, arrested after Llwynypia death crash

A man has been arrested following a fatal crash in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

A 49-year-old man died following the incident outside The Ifor Hael Hotel in Llwynypia, Tonypandy, at 23:15 BST on Thursday.

South Wales Police said the road was closed for five hours while investigations took place.

A 70-year-old man from Porth was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
