Stuart and Fraser Bates death crash driver charged

The driver of a car which hit and killed a father and son as they crossed the road has been charged with causing their deaths by dangerous driving.

Stuart Bates, 43, and seven-year-old Fraser were struck at Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taff, on Sunday 6 December by an Alfa Romeo car.

The male driver, 22, from Tonyrefail, will appear at Pontypridd Magistrates Court on 6 May.

Fraser's family donated his organs to transplant patients after his death.
