St David's School: Fire was started deliberately


A fire which damaged a classroom in a school was started deliberately, South Wales Fire Service has said.

The fire began at an outdoor storage container at St David's Junior and Infants School in Cwmbran, and spread to the classroom at around 20:10 BST on Saturday.

Additional security is in place at the school until it reopens on Tuesday.

The fire caused minor damage to the site.
