Rhydyfelin flat blaze which left five trapped was deliberate
A blaze at a block of flats from which five people were rescued was started deliberately, investigators have said.
Rescue ladders were used to get the residents from a third-floor window at Poets Close, Rhydyfelin, Rhondda Cynon Taff, on Tuesday at about 22:20 BST.
A South Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said it was started deliberately at the bottom of a staircase.
Three appliances and 15 fire fighters were needed to put the blaze out.
