Fire crews put out St Clears farm grain blaze

Firefighters have put out a blaze in a hopper containing 12 tonnes of grain on a farm in Carmarthenshire.

The storage bin was severely damaged by the blaze at Red Roses, near St Clears, Carmarthenshire.

Crews from Whitland, Narberth and Carmarthen used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and hydraulic cutting equipment to extinguish the fire.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service said no-one was injured in Wednesday afternoon's incident.
