Man dies in Pembroke Dock lorry and car collision

A man has died and another is in hospital after a crash involving a lorry and two cars in Pembrokeshire.

The collision happened at 01.27 GMT on Sunday on the A477 near to Nash Fingerpost, Pembroke Dock.

The dead man has been named as Kennith Tanike, from Swansea.

The driver of the other car suffered injuries needing hospital treatment while the driver of the articulated lorry was unhurt.

Mr Tannike's next-of-kin have been informed.

He suffered fatal injuries when his silver Peugeot 106 was involved in a collision with the lorry and a green VW Golf.

Paramedics and firefighters assisted police at the scene.

The incident saw the A477 closed for a number of hours for an accident investigation.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been travelling on the A477 at or near the time of the collision to contact officers from the Road Policing Unit at Haverfordwest Police Station on 101.
