Tenby tea room evacuated after bus crash

A cafe in Pembrokeshire has had to be evacuated after a bus crashed into an outside wall.

The incident, which Dyfed-Powys Police said involved a Silcox bus, was at Molly's Tea Room in Tenby at about 1535 BST on Wednesday.

There were no passengers on board and firefighters said nobody was injured.

Police were organising the recovery of the bus while gas, electrical and structural engineers assessed the damage to the building.

A police spokesman said: "The cafe has been evacuated and gas and electrical supplies have been switched off.

"A structural engineer is currently inspecting the scene and an articulated low loader is on its way to recover the vehicle.

"Police and the fire service remain at the scene."
