Man, 86, dies after collision on A48 in Carmarthenshire

An 86-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision on a Carmarthenshire dual carriageway.

Dudley Mason, from Waunarlwydd, was a passenger in a Ford Fusion car which collided with a Ford Fiesta on the A48 near Bristol House services on 14 July.

Any witnesses to the collision, which occurred at about 1330 BST, are asked to call police on 101, if in Wales.

Mr Mason was described as a "loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather".

A statement by his family added that he "will be missed by all who knew him".

Two other people who were taken to hospital have since been discharged.
