A primary school in Pembrokeshire closed when pupils were stung by wasps from a nest on a playing field is to partially reopen on Friday.

Ysgol Bro Ingli in Newport closed while pest control officers removed the nest.

A number of pupils were stung while playing on Wednesday.

It is reopening to pupils in years three to six on Friday but not to infants because it is expected a small number of wasps will still be present.

Parents of pupils in the infant classes who have difficulties with child care have been asked to contact the school directly to discuss their child's attendance.
