Briton Ferry resident hand stuck during trick or treat

A resident had to be rescued by fire crews after getting his hand stuck in a letter box during a Halloween trick-or-treat call, say emergency services.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to a house in Briton Ferry, Neath Port Talbot, at 18:53 GMT on Monday.

A fire crew from Neath managed to release the unnamed male's hand using an electric saw, said the service said.

An ambulance also attended but the person involved refused treatment.

Mid and West Fire and Rescue said the person whose hand became stuck was the property owner, not the trick or treater as they originally stated.
