Sniffer dogs check Langland, Swansea, wall collapse

Firefighters have used sniffer dogs to check that no-one was trapped under a collapsed wall in Swansea.

Emergency services were called at 06:48 GMT on Monday to an address on Langland Road, Langland, after reports that a 12ft (3.6m) wall had fallen over.

Mid and West Fire Service said the fall created about 30 tonnes of rubble. The search dogs did not find anyone.

The fire service said the wall may have collapsed as a result of a frost thawing.
