Fabian Way in Swansea reopens after pedestrian hurt in bus incident

A pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after an incident involving a bus on a main route into Swansea.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the man was rescued from underneath the bus on Fabian Way following the collision at 10:44 GMT.

Ten of the 15 passengers were treated for shock and South Wales Police closed the road for three hours while officers investigated.

The bus was removed from the scene and the road reopened.

Meanwhile, two people have been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Gorse Lane in Swansea.

One casualty was airlifted to hospital while the other was taken by ambulance.The extent of the injuries are not yet known.

South Wales Police received the call at 15:40 GMT on Monday and the road was closed while the air ambulance attended the scene. All lanes have reopened.
