A rare white Harley Davidson motorbike has been stolen in Llanelli.

Believed to be one of only two known in Wales, the £10,000 bike was taken from outside the town's job centre at about 14:20 GMT on Friday, 16 December.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch.

"This bike is very valuable and extremely rare," said Detective Inspector Gary Phillips who gave its number plate as GK52 UOS.

'Track down'

"It's quite striking and easily recognisable, and we're hoping that by putting this appeal out we can generate some leads to track the bike down.

"The bike was left outside the job centre in broad daylight, so we're hoping some shoppers may have seen something which could help us track down the offender.

"And if anyone has seen this bike out on the roads, or has been offered it for sale, please get in touch with us and let us know."

Dyfed-Powys Police said Llanelli police station can be reached on 101 or witnesses can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
