Harold Rowlands named as Pembrokeshire man killed in crash

An 82-year-old man who died when his car collided with a refuse lorry in Pembrokeshire on Tuesday has been named by police.

Harold Glyn Rowlands of Cosheston near Pembroke died following the incident on the A477 near Pembroke Dock.

Police said an investigation into the cause of the collision which shut the road for several hours was ongoing.

Pembrokeshire council said the three-man crew in the 26-tonne lorry escaped injury but were badly shaken.
